The Business and Science Academies recently hosted alumna Erin Holko (Masterson) as a guest speaker, where she discussed her successful beekeeping business originating in San Diego and now based in Buffalo.
Aligned with her family-owned Masterson's Garden Center in East Aurora, the business has evolved to include a skincare product line.
Last year, several students participated in an internship, gaining hands-on experience in beekeeping under Ms. Holko's guidance. We plan to offer this opportunity again this year, allowing students to further explore the practical aspects of beekeeping.
