Mount Mercy Academy held our First Semester Honors Assembly. We honored those students who have distinguished themselves academically by reaching 1st honors with an overall average of 95% or higher throughout the first semester (quarters 1 and 2). Also recognized were the students who have earned the Frances Warde Honor, which recognizes one student from each grade level with the greatest improvement in their overall GPA from 1st Quarter to 2nd Quarter. Our Fine Arts Department recognized students as well for outstanding achievement.
Additionally, we honored our students recognized as McAuley Scholars. A McAuley Scholar is a student who exemplifies a commitment to the Hallmarks of a Mercy education, Dedication to Christian Values, Academic Excellence, Leadership, and Commitment to Compassionate Service while maintaining an overall average of 95%. McAuley Scholars also must currently be enrolled in either 2 AP Courses, 1 AP Course, and 1 Honors, or 1 AP Course and Spanish V, Calculus, or College Biology.
