The Mount Mercy Academy Senior Class Retreat was a day of reflection, contemplation, and bonding. Centered around the theme "Let’s Remember Our Past and Imagine Our Future," the retreat featured inspiring sessions led by several presenters.
Mrs. Lina Smith conducted a conscientious cooking class and a Senior Celebration session, focusing on new beginnings and future paths. This session included meaningful activities such as the Mandala, where students brought small objects representing their time at Mercy, the Blue Ribbon ritual, where they shared lasting memories while wrapping a thread around their wrist, and the Candle intention activity, where students inscribed words of love, gratitude, and confidence. Pastor Christy Boeckel, Miss Amanda Jones, who led yoga and meditation for the girls, and Class of 2024 Mercy alum Katie Regan, who spoke on college mentoring, also contributed to the retreat’s enriching experience.
A touching highlight of the day was when students received heartfelt letters from parents and teachers.
It was a memorable and meaningful experience, marking the beginning of their transition as their time at Mount Mercy comes to an end.
Congratulations Class of 2025! We are so proud of you!
