Scholarship Winners!

Congratulations to these Chemistry wiz students!

Over the weekend, St. Bonaventure University held their first ever Chemistry Challenge at the school. This was a chance for prospective students to compete in competition and win scholarships to attend St. Bonaventure University. We are so proud of our three Mercy Juniors who participated in the event, Maura Dougherty, Olivia Gorczyca, and Nora Paul. In addition to the competition, the girls received a tour of the campus and science facilities.

We are so proud to share that all three students earned scholarships! Olivia and Nora placed 3rd and 4th earning them each a $1,000 scholarship and Maura placed FIRST and was awarded a $6000 scholarship! WOW!

Congratulations to Liv, Nora and Maura, and their Chemistry teacher, Ms. Paige King. Way to go ladies, we are so proud of you!
