Winter sports are officially back and so are Mount Mercy Athletics Wizards of the Week! This week we recognize Junior Claire Przybyszewski (Varsity Basketball) and Freshman Morgan Sitarek (JV Basketball).
Claire Przybyszewski earns Wizard of the Week for her outstanding performance in a close game again the Park School of Buffalo last week. Claire led the way for the Magic with a season-high 18 points. Park struggled to respond to Claire's aggressiveness and consistent finishes in the post. Despite the loss, she kept the team in a close game to the end. Great work Claire!
Morgan Sitarek earns Wizard of the Week for her tough performance in JV Basketball's close loss to West Seneca West last week. Morgan scored a career-high 8 points while also contributing a great effort both defensively and on the boards. Good job Morgan!
